Probe currently uses of_device_get_match_data(),\nso a non-OF SPI modalias match falls back to mchp23k256_caps even when\nthe SPI id table selected a different part.\n\nUse spi_get_device_match_data() so SPI id-table driver_data is consumed\nwhen OF match data is absent. This keeps the existing default fallback\nwhile avoiding the wrong MTD geometry for id-table-only matches.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/04ebd3766861f219325852c9598e0f0281cb3636","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/09e044192a42f716215fbd1a100ee87fa57426aa","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2e179b028da9fd628a09286a2c9df4fa076b2cc9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7c0a3a73dccc9a3fc701f6be762449f18d0ca0fc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a0c38083623c8b210a5b87fd34bebd05aa935ae8"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:48:17.459049833+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-68467","score":0.00129,"percentile":0.02538,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
