If RX data is available and the user buffer remains\nunwritable, the read loop can repeat indefinitely.\n\nTrack the copied length separately and return -EFAULT, or the number of\nbytes already copied, if an iteration makes no progress.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3081b0e187065c3b9577e393ad664b12854aeaf3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3f81197364b57e5318620c75f3bd63f405f60552","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4cde0b38cc0cb8b7dc17295801015148de37d1d2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/994afccfdcceb73be33f69a8a8ea71e260c9eca5","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c2e819be6a5c7f34344926b4bd7e3dfca58cf48a"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:47:54.990491175+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-68369","score":0.0021,"percentile":0.11267,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
