Several early probe failures then unwind\nthrough wanxl_pci_remove_one(), including failure to allocate the coherent\nstatus area or to restore the DMA mask.\n\nwanxl_pci_remove_one() unconditionally calls wanxl_reset(), and\nwanxl_reset() dereferences card->plx. On those early failures card->plx\nis still NULL, so the error path can dereference a NULL MMIO pointer.\n\nOnly issue the hardware reset once the BAR mapping exists. The remaining\ncleanup in wanxl_pci_remove_one() already checks whether later resources\nwere allocated.\n\nThis issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by\nmanual source review.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2fe22d58b3797d741570f9873b26653fd511576c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3d9617d856ebddcdddbab0ce877c397420f59f55","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/59cbe6cfa0fa23c192351cc284e30707309f6741","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/897e289db1e4d00ca6419cfe733c646492147270","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/91957b89da995607cb654b1f9a3c126ddbaee10f"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:47:54.990491175+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-68327","score":0.00177,"percentile":0.07222,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
