An authenticated attacker can\nset the NTLM blob username to match a victim account and set\nPreviousSessionId to the victim's session ID; destroy_previous_session()\ndestroys the victim's session while ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob()\nsubsequently rejects the request with -EPERM.\n\nMove destroy_previous_session() and the prev_id assignment to after\nksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() returns success and use sess->user\nrather than the pre-authentication lookup result. This matches the\nordering already used by krb5_authenticate(), where\ndestroy_previous_session() is called only after\nksmbd_krb5_authenticate() returns success.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0ff12308c8a6c16ab68f0a487ffa93d69001dc18","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/18705cace0619fd2123737dcd028147774f38181","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/243f1614ef2aca2d62a744575f1c24b07cd42757","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/370b0ec8822b69c9073265e16b7daaa8201c9a4f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5c833074b549e5db125436a6f681af682261f785"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:47:54.990491175+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-68130","score":0.00216,"percentile":0.12077,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
