The issue stems from the use of unbounded sscanf() and passing user-controlled data directly to printf(). Due to the lack of PIE and Stack Canary protections, an authenticated remote attacker can exploit these to execute arbitrary code as the web server user. \nAffected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RR42 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.2.REO1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L","score":8.6},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.9},"cwes":["CWE-121"],"references":["https://www.asustor.com/security/security_advisory_detail?id=54"],"products":["asustor:data_master"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-6643","score":0.00468,"percentile":0.40255,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
