Prior to 3.39.19, the PostgreSQL datasource connector in packages/server/src/integrations/postgres.ts interpolates the user-controlled schema configuration field into a SET search_path statement without escaping embedded double quotes, allowing an authenticated administrator who saves or tests the datasource to execute arbitrary SQL through the simple query protocol. This issue is fixed in version 3.39.19.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.4},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/commit/67572a82c3850964f388bfd969779dc025a80224","https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-qqf5-x7mj-v43p","https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-qqf5-x7mj-v43p"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:10.689564601+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64657","score":0.00446,"percentile":0.38793,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-qqf5-x7mj-v43p","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-qqf5-x7mj-v43p","summary":"budibase: Database Connector SQL Injections in PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MySQL","modified":"2026-08-18T13:26:20.095694466Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"budibase","purl":"pkg:npm/budibase","ranges":["<3.39.19"],"fixed":["3.39.19"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
