Refactor the\ninitializations so that mantissa and exp have separate declarations and\nsign gets initialized later.\n\nIn addition (and due to the nature of the cleanup), fix a sign-extension\nbug where, float32 would get bitwise anded with ~BIT(31)\n(which is 0xFFFFFFFF7FFFFFFF) which corrupted the exponent.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0ccff849bde90973e6c13a666f6ceab5c55b30d4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1821bcacd8ac5b214c53be16cbb8172bf193f0b6","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/40bb0fdb37f441c9c9f52bf58bbd8a0ca3cc9598","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/60d877910a43c305b5165131b258a17b1d772d57","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/82accdd57404399eddf3d56fd9beda7c61307388"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64497","score":0.00177,"percentile":0.07292,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
