Since the addition of write fifo support\nthe keyspan_pda implementation will however return the number characters\nsubmitted to the device if the write urb is not already in use. If this\nnumber is larger than the number of characters passed to write(), the\nline discipline continues writing data from beyond the tty write buffer.\n\nFix the information leak by making sure that keyspan_pda_write_start()\nreturns zero on success as intended.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-401"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2f7a6b8ab3845bd1da02604f1a874b52a4555a72","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6bfc8d01ac4068eced509f8fc74d0cd205e4dcec","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b069b7029862fafaff331d4c664d97d4ae828d6d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cf6ca0aefae03958cfb5b189b0adbfb25c06bfac","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d4b12b6b395e43a2b1d80be3745631fcaa9c047b"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64336","score":0.00123,"percentile":0.02027,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
