However, epfile->in\nwas previously only populated in ffs_func_eps_enable() which executes\nupon USB host connection. As a result, early userspace ioctls like\nFUNCTIONFS_DMABUF_ATTACH that run before the host connects would see\nepfile->in as 0, leading to incorrect DMA directions.\n\nBy moving the initialization to ffs_epfiles_create(), epfile->in is\naccurate before userspace opens the endpoint files.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/82cf1142e5ccf2b6d6d22ef713aaf3e5f2b5716b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/82cfd4739011bdc7e87b5d585703427e89ddfaa5","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9e04055ab5fc0470a0031ee6934739f9aa8f34a5","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f99f32ea9aa976afcbec20647ed33b50a52002c1"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64327","score":0.00159,"percentile":0.05056,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
