This is exploitable pre-authentication.\n\nAdd bounds validation ensuring sizeof(*data) + 2*hl + dhvlen <= tl before\nany access to the variable-length fields.\n\nDiscovered by Atuin - Automated Vulnerability Discovery Engine.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3a413ece2504c70aa34a20be4dafec04e8c741f9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6d7649c1231dac14d906985d2936967e23041c26","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/80cd28b56ab62d3e7ed0a7bf05282e6d3ee5b2a0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/999f6205ede984a786f35f727b01f971b98e215d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/caa71b3a43ea5c13fe7141cb019ebcb03b8ac857"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64319","score":0.00524,"percentile":0.44162,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
