Similarly, the TLB might be invalid, and the invalidation\nshould be skipped in this case.\n\nBoth kvm_invalidate_vncr_ipa() and kvm_invalidate_vncr_va() are\nexpected to perform the same checks, except that the latter doesn't\ncheck for the allocation and blindly dereferences the pointer.\n\nSolve this by introducing a new iterator built on top of the usual\nkvm_for_each_vcpu() that checks for both of the above conditions,\nand convert the two users to it.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4be6cbeb93d26994bd1827ddbce391e3c4395c8f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5fd30133af864a1de0a0bd87d3fe3cf23205fbc7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7c73a269a880b1399baacfb9d521415e6ef7ecc2"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64288","score":0.0016,"percentile":0.05171,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
