While this is generally\nthe case, flush_hyp_vcpu() copies the context verbatim and does not\nenforce this, so a value provided by the host is dereferenced at EL2\n(host -> EL2).\n\nFix by clearing __hyp_running_vcpu after the copy.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.2},"cwes":["CWE-822"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/477145860dba4c30f0b4e36f02f4c5291c1c888b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6bea2f8becdb20d34378493c3b77a9b9cf8c6cfa","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d4f4d61715d1061ba83b88196a3605662be30750","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/dfaef40d8a1533940fc1af788d70fce07362b4ce","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e8042f6e1d7befb2fb6b10a75918642bcd0acf9a"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64286","score":0.00176,"percentile":0.07015,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
