This was triggered by modifying virtio-mem driver.\n\nFix this by delaying the assignment of mem->altmap until after\n__add_memory_block() has succeeded.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/059ac6252a63edf1cea79bf30bd860a8c264b62c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/22dc0d042f02ce82aa61422ea5f232628bfd9e9c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6c25bf4e44a2b6a14332f952bba0974521f5b72d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/802e113cf120df7208e4c7e604950a85e87120a8","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a2b8d7827f48ee54a686cb80e4a1d0ff954ec42a"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64244","score":0.00115,"percentile":0.01507,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
