This can\nproduce an invalid bRequestType and trigger the control direction warning\nreported by syzbot:\n\n usb 2-1: BOGUS control dir, pipe 80003580 doesn't match bRequestType 0\n\nPass ir->request itself as the setup packet.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/060fca8e098387f949e4eedaf215d952e477ac12","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0d880d2db9856e94127ab09331363bef59f98005","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/171022c7d594c133a45f92357a2a91475edabe20","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2243ad78ce64d344754260533ae7730c2174a34a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5cc3f6db72f77d1a8f7f1cf4ac01803927ffdf15"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64240","score":0.00115,"percentile":0.01507,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
