This can cause use\nafter free issues when munmap() unmaps only the VMA region and not the\nadditional mappings. To prevent this, check the remaining size of the\nVMA before remapping and truncate the remapped length if sg->length is\ntoo large.\n\n[jhugo: fix braces from checkpatch --strict]","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8c795012d0e06b7740e40319b86ff8d2a435098d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8dd6edbe26770df147136c3f2ac976c873b82650","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/97a8e89cdef36207a8776edc03d6931763a06ad0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9baafc2fea096279e75480f93fd5942e8336b510","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/aa16b2bc0f02709919e2435f531406531e5bcc69"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:45:36.895656543+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-64051","score":0.00129,"percentile":0.02489,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
