Multiple teardown paths such as\nmana_remove(), mana_change_mtu() recovery, and internal error handling\nin mana_alloc_queues() can subsequently call into functions that\ndereference these pointers without NULL checks:\n\n- mana_chn_setxdp() dereferences apc->rxqs[0], causing a NULL pointer\n dereference panic (CR2: 0000000000000000 at mana_chn_setxdp+0x26).\n- mana_destroy_vport() iterates apc->rxqs without a NULL check.\n- mana_fence_rqs() iterates apc->rxqs without a NULL check.\n- mana_dealloc_queues() iterates apc->tx_qp without a NULL check.\n\nAdd NULL guards for apc->rxqs in mana_fence_rqs(),\nmana_destroy_vport(), and before the mana_chn_setxdp() call. Add a\nNULL guard for apc->tx_qp in mana_dealloc_queues() to skip TX queue\ndraining when TX queues were never allocated or already freed.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0a9c520fdcb1cb2e79c163c12d359b5e1ee40007","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/17bfe0a8c014ee1d542ad352cd6a0a505361664a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/26a96fa81496afe7d162d172ccdc8cb9dbc685d2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/95e414f8324385771bdfd6d497a01d5593813ccb","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/da7e4a1aaf397af6a094f640c92d6bc7564c10db"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:45:36.895656543+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-63973","score":0.0016,"percentile":0.05126,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
