This is due to missing nonce verification in the saveFields() function, which handles the fff_save_settins AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin filter settings, update arbitrary options, or create new filter posts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/fast-fancy-filter-3f/tags/1.2.2/includes/admin/class-admin.php#L24","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/fast-fancy-filter-3f/tags/1.2.2/includes/admin/class-admin.php#L419","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/fast-fancy-filter-3f/trunk/includes/admin/class-admin.php#L24","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/fast-fancy-filter-3f/trunk/includes/admin/class-admin.php#L419","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/4b5fbf2c-1231-482f-b5a5-819f31da3524?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:30:49.762551342+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-6396","score":0.0018,"percentile":0.0753,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
