Since both len and data[0] are under the device's\ncontrol, a broken controller can send a GIP_CMD_INPUT packet with\nactual_length < 18 (e.g. 5 bytes) and reach this code path, causing\naccesses beyond the actual array.\n\nFix this by calculating the offset and checking bounds against the\npacket length.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/37ec54abfdd63a63fd50734a9c4e4cbc1e5795af","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6346b0895b574ce45f3747b9c508c72f70e6abef","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6cdc46b38cf146ce81d4831b6472dbf7731849a2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9749db57233b396353ad5dee81eec9d9880c9246","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/bcfb4833cd4078a1a356ef451838b75cd233099e"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-30T14:49:48.263840089+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-63943","score":0.002,"percentile":0.09908,"date":"2026-10-30"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
