If it succeeds,\npnfs_put_layout_hdr(lo) is called before trace_pnfs_update_layout(),\nwhich still references 'lo'. This results in a use-after-free when the\ntracepoint accesses lo's fields.\n\nFix this by moving the tracepoint call before pnfs_put_layout_hdr(lo).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/13e198a90ca4050f4bee8a3f23680389a6563ccc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1f24b8302c77dcaf79c64c073877a3b9f4dd25d2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/200e7637f4d6a1342987045eea72641524f909dc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2883ddd7542b4437a2ab4908fe2773f690e20889","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4ad8b9a85dbf57ca532ee9e65ad7e6498bfbbf98"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-63800","score":0.00644,"percentile":0.50599,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
