{"cve":"CVE-2026-63643","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-18T18:19:12.260","modified":"2026-10-22T22:10:00.250","status":"Deferred","description":"MagicMirror² is an open source modular smart mirror platform. Prior to 2.37.0, the ADD_CALENDAR handler in defaultmodules/calendar/node_helper.js accepts an attacker-controlled URL, authentication data, and selfSignedCert setting through the unauthenticated Socket.IO namespace /calendar. The handler passes these fields to CalendarFetcher, causing a server-side request without SSRF validation and optionally disabling TLS verification. When the response is valid iCal, CALENDAR_EVENTS returns parsed event data to the attacker, allowing internal-service response data to be exfiltrated; other responses still provide a blind request and timing primitive. This issue is fixed in version 2.37.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-441","CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/MagicMirrorOrg/MagicMirror/commit/58c2a5e675a7d367b64d72e1d35680d202ff5c9f","https://github.com/MagicMirrorOrg/MagicMirror/pull/4169","https://github.com/MagicMirrorOrg/MagicMirror/releases/tag/v2.37.0","https://github.com/MagicMirrorOrg/MagicMirror/security/advisories/GHSA-w6x9-28jw-hq7j"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-23T16:39:26.291718493+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-63643","score":0.00665,"percentile":0.5148,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-w6x9-28jw-hq7j","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-w6x9-28jw-hq7j","summary":"MagicMirror: ssrf calendar .js","modified":"2026-08-18T17:41:04.426800Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"magicmirror","purl":"pkg:npm/magicmirror","ranges":["<2.37.0"],"fixed":["2.37.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
