Prior to 1.0.0-rc.16, the Grav API plugin CorsMiddleware returns Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and permissive OPTIONS responses for authenticated /api/v1 endpoints. JavaScript from any origin can submit an attacker-obtained JWT through the Authorization or X-API-Token header, read the authenticated response, and perform write operations with the token owner's privileges, enabling data exfiltration and account modification. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.16.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N","score":8.2},"cwes":["CWE-942"],"references":["https://github.com/getgrav/grav-plugin-api/commit/56ae2ca3bf36c8299a4b3d376c6a20e8c0ed5ba9","https://github.com/getgrav/grav-plugin-api/releases/tag/1.0.0-rc.16","https://github.com/getgrav/grav/security/advisories/GHSA-93px-98wh-6fj2","https://github.com/getgrav/grav/security/advisories/GHSA-93px-98wh-6fj2"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:38.260478770+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-63407","score":0.00376,"percentile":0.31584,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
