{"cve":"CVE-2026-62280","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-15T10:17:05.957","modified":"2026-09-30T17:43:24.057","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. From 13.0.0 until 16.1.2, the OAuth2 authorize endpoint's display=wap consent page reflects request-derived values through ConsentRequiredResource and wap/authorize.ftl without HTML escaping. An attacker can induce a user with an active OpenAM session to follow a crafted authorization link and execute JavaScript in the OpenAM origin, enabling session or cookie theft, CSRF-token disclosure, and actions with the victim's privileges. At least one registered OAuth2 client is required, but the attacker does not need to control that client. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/commit/98cee2dfe701c2e16e5bcee34e6fd9d913925118","https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/releases/tag/16.1.2","https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/security/advisories/GHSA-vqxv-6xrh-49cp"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-62280","score":0.00327,"percentile":0.25546,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-vqxv-6xrh-49cp","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-vqxv-6xrh-49cp","summary":"OpenAM Reflected XSS in the OAuth2/OIDC `wap` consent page","modified":"2026-07-24T21:26:41.392915Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.openidentityplatform.openam:openam-oauth2","purl":"pkg:maven/org.openidentityplatform.openam/openam-oauth2","ranges":[">=13.0.0 <16.1.2"],"fixed":["16.1.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
