{"cve":"CVE-2026-6169","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-27T08:16:44.810","modified":"2026-06-17T11:00:26.000","status":"Deferred","description":"The affiliate-toolkit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to remote code execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.5. This is due to the plugin using the BladeOne templating engine's runString() method which compiles user-supplied template content into PHP code and executes it via eval() without sanitization or sandboxing. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to execute arbitrary code on the server by injecting PHP into a plugin template.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-94"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/affiliate-toolkit-starter/tags/3.8.5/includes/atkp_posttypes_template.php#L735","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/affiliate-toolkit-starter/tags/3.8.5/includes/helper/atkp_template_helper.php#L1074","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/affiliate-toolkit-starter/tags/3.8.5/lib/bladeone/BladeOne.php#L320","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b6310a0c-5a96-4dbc-940e-025c9b907c7d?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-6169","score":0.00603,"percentile":0.48866,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
