This is due to unsafe ZIP file extraction in the ampforwp_save_local_font() function combined with inadequate cleanup that fails to remove nested directories and files. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, and permissions granted by an Administrator, to write arbitrary files to the server in a web-accessible location, potentially leading to remote code execution on hosts that execute PHP files in the uploads directory.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-73"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/accelerated-mobile-pages/tags/1.1.12/accelerated-moblie-pages.php#L1616","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/accelerated-mobile-pages/tags/1.1.12/includes/options/admin-config.php#L1700","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/accelerated-mobile-pages/tags/1.1.12/includes/options/redux-core/core/panel.php#L175","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/accelerated-mobile-pages/tags/1.1.12/includes/options/redux-core/framework.php#L2832","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/accelerated-mobile-pages/trunk/accelerated-moblie-pages.php#L1616"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:42:16.820116992+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-6101","score":0.01023,"percentile":0.63509,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
