Prior to 1.83.10-stable, LiteLLM's /health/test_connection endpoint resolved request-supplied environment and OIDC file references in litellm_params, allowing a proxy administrator or another privileged caller with permission to test model connections to read files from the local filesystem via an oidc/file/ reference. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.10-stable.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":2.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":4.9},"cwes":["CWE-73"],"references":["https://github.com/BerriAI/litellm/pull/25592","https://github.com/BerriAI/litellm/releases/tag/v1.83.10-stable","https://github.com/BerriAI/litellm/security/advisories/GHSA-4g5m-c9r5-49xf"],"products":["litellm:litellm"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:06.907763985+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-59819","score":0.00572,"percentile":0.47037,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4g5m-c9r5-49xf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4g5m-c9r5-49xf","summary":"LiteLLM: Local file read via request-supplied OIDC file references","modified":"2026-09-10T03:51:10.285552912Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"litellm","purl":"pkg:pypi/litellm","ranges":["<1.83.10"],"fixed":["1.83.10"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-3476","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-3476","summary":"LiteLLM: Local file read via request-supplied OIDC file references","modified":"2026-07-23T15:00:12.511484226Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"litellm","purl":"pkg:pypi/litellm","ranges":["<1.83.10"],"fixed":["1.83.10"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
