{"cve":"CVE-2026-59243","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-29T10:16:44.390","modified":"2026-10-23T23:10:00.157","status":"Analyzed","description":"The FAB auth manager's Azure AD OAuth login defaulted `verify_signature=False` when decoding the ID token, so an attacker able to present a forged or unsigned (`alg:none`) ID token to the OAuth callback could bypass authentication and log in as an arbitrary user, including one holding the Admin role (CWE-347). Deployments running the FAB auth manager with the Azure AD OAuth login path under its default configuration are affected; the Authentik path already defaulted to `True`. This issue affects `apache-airflow-providers-fab` before 3.7.3. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-fab` 3.7.3, which defaults `verify_signature=True`.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-347"],"references":["https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/69374","https://lists.apache.org/thread/x4784l7z00tl3gw4tv2dmvoon77rxgpl","http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2026/07/28/10"],"products":["apache:apache-airflow-providers-fab"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:27.712498749+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-59243","score":0.00643,"percentile":0.50507,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
