{"cve":"CVE-2026-58268","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-22T20:17:03.960","modified":"2026-09-23T18:12:04.247","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"SIPGO is a library for writing SIP services in the GO language. Prior to 1.4.1, ParserStream.parseSingle in sip/parser_stream.go allocates a SIP body buffer from the client-controlled Content-Length header before ParseMaxMessageLength is enforced. An unauthenticated peer can send a stream-transport message over TCP, TLS, WS, or WSS with an oversized declared length, causing excessive memory allocation and denial of service before the body is read. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-789"],"references":["https://github.com/emiago/sipgo/commit/a7be60a07f48c06b3cdd5a7d35eb820b3df5736c","https://github.com/emiago/sipgo/releases/tag/v1.4.1","https://github.com/emiago/sipgo/security/advisories/GHSA-pg59-5vwg-4jxq"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:02.509636177+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-58268","score":0.00609,"percentile":0.49172,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-pg59-5vwg-4jxq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-pg59-5vwg-4jxq","summary":"SIPGO: DoS via unvalidated Content-Length in the stream parser","modified":"2026-10-01T20:55:47.289633439Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/emiago/sipgo","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/emiago/sipgo","ranges":["<1.4.1"],"fixed":["1.4.1"]}]},{"id":"GO-2026-6550","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2026-6550","summary":"SIPGO: DoS via unvalidated Content-Length in the stream parser in github.com/emiago/sipgo","modified":"2026-10-01T20:45:12.265912445Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/emiago/sipgo","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/emiago/sipgo","ranges":["<1.4.1"],"fixed":["1.4.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
