{"cve":"CVE-2026-57488","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-16T16:18:44.823","modified":"2026-10-20T19:37:12.947","status":"Analyzed","description":"pupnp is an SDK for development of UPnP device and control point applications. Prior to 2.0.2, raw_to_int in upnp/src/genlib/net/http/httpparser.c parses Content-Length with strtol and casts the resulting long to a 32-bit int before the caller stores it as unsigned int. On LP64 systems, values greater than INT_MAX can truncate or wrap, so the HTTP parser can accept a body length different from the declared value. A remote adjacent-network peer can use the resulting parser disagreement to leave bytes to be interpreted as another request in persistent or proxied contexts, or can make a worker wait for an extremely large body and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 2.0.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-190","CWE-444"],"references":["https://github.com/pupnp/pupnp/commit/de9602aef34ff722f3630d66c9be8eaa0aa9f012","https://github.com/pupnp/pupnp/releases/tag/release-2.0.2","https://github.com/pupnp/pupnp/security/advisories/GHSA-g6c2-x4r9-352g","https://github.com/pupnp/pupnp/security/advisories/GHSA-g6c2-x4r9-352g"],"products":["pupnp_project:pupnp"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:56:58.798400159+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-57488","score":0.00331,"percentile":0.26044,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
