{"cve":"CVE-2026-56676","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-10T16:16:34.923","modified":"2026-10-25T15:10:00.147","status":"Deferred","description":"9Router is an AI router & token saver. Prior to 0.5.2, 9router validates image URLs by resolving the host before fetching, but open-sse/translator/concerns/image.js performs the later server-side image fetch with a separate DNS resolution. An authenticated attacker with access to the LLM proxy can use a vision-capable model and an attacker-controlled DNS name that first resolves to a public IP and then rebinds to an internal address, allowing server-side requests to internal-only HTTP services. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.4},"cwes":["CWE-367","CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/decolua/9router/commit/c7d07448c58bec1200741de0b73305b860416b82","https://github.com/decolua/9router/releases/tag/v0.5.2","https://github.com/decolua/9router/security/advisories/GHSA-cmhj-wh2f-9cgx","https://github.com/decolua/9router/security/advisories/GHSA-cmhj-wh2f-9cgx"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:06.907763985+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-56676","score":0.0026,"percentile":0.17536,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-cmhj-wh2f-9cgx","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-cmhj-wh2f-9cgx","summary":"9router: Image prefetch DNS rebinding allows SSRF to internal services","modified":"2026-09-23T18:27:56.218933611Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"9router","purl":"pkg:npm/9router","ranges":["<0.5.2"],"fixed":["0.5.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
