Prior to 0.5.2, 9router treats loopback requests as trusted and allows /v1/* access without an API key, so a same-host reverse proxy that forwards public traffic to the backend through 127.0.0.1 causes src/dashboardGuard.js to misclassify external requests as local. A remote unauthenticated attacker can access /v1 APIs such as /v1/models and may abuse configured upstream provider credentials through /v1 proxy endpoints depending on enabled providers. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":8.3},"cwes":["CWE-287","CWE-290","CWE-306","CWE-441"],"references":["https://github.com/decolua/9router/commit/da667836cc7584bea0edd893de1d590c9ea279dc","https://github.com/decolua/9router/releases/tag/v0.5.2","https://github.com/decolua/9router/security/advisories/GHSA-x5c9-v98j-722r"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:06.907763985+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-56675","score":0.00501,"percentile":0.42628,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-x5c9-v98j-722r","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-x5c9-v98j-722r","summary":"9router /v1 APIs has unauthenticated access via reverse proxy locality collapse","modified":"2026-09-23T18:27:57.782900279Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"9router","purl":"pkg:npm/9router","ranges":["<0.5.2"],"fixed":["0.5.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
