{"cve":"CVE-2026-56673","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-31T06:16:30.520","modified":"2026-10-23T23:10:00.157","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"ComfyUI is a modular diffusion model GUI, API, and backend with a graph-and-node interface. Prior to 0.28.0, folder_paths.get_annotated_filepath and exists_annotated_filepath join workflow-controlled annotated filenames to a base directory without a containment check, allowing an unauthenticated crafted POST /prompt workflow using LoadImage or sibling nodes to probe arbitrary host paths and exfiltrate image-format files through /view. LoadImage defines a VALIDATE_INPUTS method, which causes the execution engine to skip COMBO (input-directory) validation. Affected nodes include LoadImage, LoadImageMask, LoadImageOutput, LoadAudio, LoadLatent, LoadVideo, and Load3D. This issue is fixed in version 0.28.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/pull/14734","https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/releases/tag/v0.28.0","https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/security/advisories/GHSA-rvxv-29p8-pxgq"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-56673","score":0.00632,"percentile":0.50004,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
