{"cve":"CVE-2026-55650","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-15T15:17:19.090","modified":"2026-09-30T17:51:56.193","status":"Deferred","description":"Outerbase Studio is a lightweight browser-based database GUI supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite. In version 0.10.2 and earlier, TextComponent in src/components/chart/index.tsx renders unsanitized Text Widget content through dangerouslySetInnerHTML, allowing injected markup with script-capable event handlers to execute when the widget is displayed. Outerbase Cloud and its backend services were discontinued in 2025, and the current architecture uses local browser dashboard storage, so the impact is limited to local self-XSS. Authentication token theft, account takeover, and backend database access are not applicable to the current architecture. No fixed release is available as of this review.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":4.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/outerbase/studio/commit/b06fb85e5967440278d5a815721b360920566ab9","https://github.com/outerbase/studio/security/advisories/GHSA-wwf9-7jrc-rv4q"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-55650","score":0.00191,"percentile":0.08621,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-wwf9-7jrc-rv4q","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-wwf9-7jrc-rv4q","summary":"Outerbase Studio: Stored XSS in Text Widget Leads to Authentication Token Exposure","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:50.901075205Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@outerbase/studio","purl":"pkg:npm/%40outerbase/studio","ranges":["<=0.10.2"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
