{"cve":"CVE-2026-55385","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-14T20:17:48.633","modified":"2026-10-20T03:17:15.487","status":"Deferred","description":"InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates. Prior to version 2.4.0, InvoiceShelf's PDFConfigurationRequest.php validates the owner-controlled gotenberg_host setting only as a syntactically valid URL. GotenbergPDFDriver::loadView later sends a multipart HTTP request containing rendered invoice, estimate, or payment HTML as document.html to that host without rejecting private, loopback, link-local, or reserved addresses. An owner can use PDF generation to reach internal services or cloud metadata endpoints, and a configured external host receives customer names, addresses, line items, totals, and company identifiers from subsequent PDF renders. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.8},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/InvoiceShelf/InvoiceShelf/commit/d615cfb4ff4841a3b8cda7fc850a2bb335521fe5","https://github.com/InvoiceShelf/InvoiceShelf/pull/664","https://github.com/InvoiceShelf/InvoiceShelf/releases/tag/2.4.0","https://github.com/InvoiceShelf/InvoiceShelf/security/advisories/GHSA-mfxg-qphw-3f3g","https://github.com/InvoiceShelf/InvoiceShelf/security/advisories/GHSA-mfxg-qphw-3f3g"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:56:58.798400159+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-55385","score":0.00576,"percentile":0.47223,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
