Prior to 1.0.4, is_url_safe in src/helpers.ts strips the @ userinfo delimiter with remove_at_symbol_in_string before new URL parses the URL, allowing an attacker-controlled URL to bypass internal-IP validation and cause a client using the original URL to reach an internal service. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.4.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.7},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-76"],"references":["https://github.com/HackingRepo/dssrf-js/commit/9211f91bf532433a1a1b27d946571546a63664b3","https://github.com/HackingRepo/dssrf-js/issues/97","https://github.com/HackingRepo/dssrf-js/pull/98","https://github.com/HackingRepo/dssrf-js/security/advisories/GHSA-cg4g-m8jx-vjv2","https://github.com/HackingRepo/dssrf-js/security/advisories/GHSA-cg4g-m8jx-vjv2"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54722","score":0.0057,"percentile":0.46898,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-cg4g-m8jx-vjv2","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-cg4g-m8jx-vjv2","summary":"dssrf has an SSRF bypass with remove_at_symbol_in_string","modified":"2026-07-30T21:30:38.761936138Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"dssrf","purl":"pkg:npm/dssrf","ranges":["<1.0.4"],"fixed":["1.0.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
