{"cve":"CVE-2026-54687","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-27T20:17:49.500","modified":"2026-09-23T16:24:30.740","status":"Analyzed","description":"n8n-nodes-sqlite3 is a node for operating a local SQLite database from n8n. Prior to 1.0.0, nodes/SqliteNode/v1/SqliteV1.node.ts exposes the db_path database file path as a node parameter that permits data expressions from upstream workflow input. A workflow author who maps untrusted input to db_path can allow a remote attacker to select which SQLite file the n8n process opens, enabling traversal outside the intended database location and potentially reading, creating, or overwriting files accessible to the process. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/DangerBlack/n8n-node-sqlite3/commit/145a8876ff12375813bdcd4ae4fe78f460c53a98","https://github.com/DangerBlack/n8n-node-sqlite3/pull/25","https://github.com/DangerBlack/n8n-node-sqlite3/security/advisories/GHSA-q7m3-rhxg-7vxr"],"products":["dangerblack:n8n-node-sqlite3"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:50:17.453294893+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54687","score":0.00788,"percentile":0.56219,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-q7m3-rhxg-7vxr","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-q7m3-rhxg-7vxr","summary":"n8n-nodes-sqlite3 vulnerable to path traversal via user-controlled database file path (db_path parameter)","modified":"2026-08-27T17:25:39.159017Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"n8n-nodes-sqlite3","purl":"pkg:npm/n8n-nodes-sqlite3","ranges":["<1.0.0"],"fixed":["1.0.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
