{"cve":"CVE-2026-54351","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-26T21:16:35.170","modified":"2026-06-30T19:52:17.227","status":"Analyzed","description":"Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.39.9, the webhook trigger endpoint in Budibase is publicly accessible and passes the full HTTP request body into automation execution parameters. A mass assignment vulnerability in externalTrigger() allows an attacker to overwrite the internal appId property by including it in the webhook POST body. When the automation is processed asynchronously (the default path for webhooks without a collect step), the worker executes the attacker-defined automation in the context of the victim's workspace, granting full read/write access to the victim's database. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.39.9.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.6},"cwes":["CWE-915"],"references":["https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-rgvg-3wpc-h44p","https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-rgvg-3wpc-h44p"],"products":["budibase:budibase"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54351","score":0.00461,"percentile":0.39992,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-rgvg-3wpc-h44p","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-rgvg-3wpc-h44p","summary":"Budibase: Mass Assignment in Webhook Trigger Allows Cross-Workspace Automation Execution via appId Override","modified":"2026-07-21T15:15:50.232088038Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@budibase/server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40budibase/server","ranges":["<3.39.9"],"fixed":["3.39.9"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
