{"cve":"CVE-2026-54347","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-18T21:16:36.027","modified":"2026-09-08T21:02:26.047","status":"Deferred","description":"Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.8, DNS TXT record content accepted by lib/Froxlor/Api/Commands/DomainZones.php can contain HTML special characters, lib/Froxlor/UI/Callbacks/Text.php returns the content from Text::wordwrap without HTML escaping, and templates/Froxlor/table/table.html.twig renders the callback result with the raw filter. An authenticated customer with DNS editor access can store JavaScript-bearing content in a TXT record. When an administrator views the affected domain's DNS configuration, the payload executes automatically in the administrator's browser session, which can expose session data or perform privileged panel actions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.8.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.7},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/commit/a1d8f425b11ef7597949018814afa056a842cba0","https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/releases/tag/2.3.8","https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/security/advisories/GHSA-43gm-9rr3-cx7g"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:10.689564601+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54347","score":0.00416,"percentile":0.35946,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
