{"cve":"CVE-2026-54213","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-07T10:16:58.500","modified":"2026-10-24T16:10:00.153","status":"Deferred","description":"Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox application exposes a functionality that allows the server to be \nshut down when a specific endpoint (/internalRestart) is accessed. This \nendpoint is accessible to unauthenticated users over the public \nInternet. Instead of “restarting”, the server shuts completely down. As a\n result, a remote attacker can trigger a persistent denial of service by\n shutting down the web server without requiring authentication. Recovery\n requires manual administrator intervention to restart the service. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528.\n\nStarting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:H","score":9.2},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-284"],"references":["https://chayns.net/77892-10814/tapp/763210?postId=11454","https://labs.infoguard.ch/posts/22-cves-in-david-a-secure-m365-alternative/","https://labs.infoguard.ch/posts/22-cves-in-david-a-secure-m365-alternative/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54213","score":0.00713,"percentile":0.53386,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
