However, the application \ndoes not verify that the provided path actually refers to an \n\"Archive.ini\" file. If an attacker specifies a different file with \nexcessive size, a buffer overflow occurs. This vulnerability allows an \nunauthenticated attacker to crash the server, resulting in denial of \nservice. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528.\n\nStarting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:H","score":8.9},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://chayns.net/77892-10814/tapp/763210?postId=11454","https://labs.infoguard.ch/posts/22-cves-in-david-a-secure-m365-alternative/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54209","score":0.0041,"percentile":0.34969,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
