{"cve":"CVE-2026-54087","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-14T18:17:51.930","modified":"2026-09-30T19:57:08.043","status":"Deferred","description":"EasyAdmin is a fast and modern admin generator for Symfony applications. From 5.0.0 until 5.0.13, FileField and ImageField can accept browser-executable uploads while templates/crud/field/file.html.twig links to stored files for inline same-origin rendering without a download attribute or Content-Disposition attachment header. When uploads are stored under the public web root, an attacker with access to an affected form can upload HTML through FileField or SVG through ImageField, and JavaScript executes in an authenticated administrator's origin when the file is opened from the backend. Exploitation requires a privilege gap between the uploader and viewer. The issue can expose session or CSRF tokens and enable privilege escalation, but does not permit PHP or PHTML code execution because Symfony guessExtension does not produce those stored extensions. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.13.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N","score":7.6},"cwes":["CWE-79","CWE-434"],"references":["https://github.com/EasyCorp/EasyAdminBundle/commit/8132b2b0ca3876c9261264fa267106a1b2c10a68","https://github.com/EasyCorp/EasyAdminBundle/releases/tag/v5.0.13","https://github.com/EasyCorp/EasyAdminBundle/security/advisories/GHSA-8559-gwj3-q37r"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54087","score":0.00404,"percentile":0.34354,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
