Prior to 2.56.1, in HTTP mode with multi-tenancy enabled through ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true, n8n-mcp's local workflow version history backups were not isolated per tenant, allowing an authenticated tenant to read workflow version snapshots belonging to other tenants and delete or destroy other tenants' stored backups, including full node definitions, credential references, and authorization headers. This issue is fixed in version 2.56.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:L","score":9.9},"cwes":["CWE-639","CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/czlonkowski/n8n-mcp/releases/tag/v2.56.1","https://github.com/czlonkowski/n8n-mcp/security/advisories/GHSA-j6r7-6fhx-77wx"],"products":["n8n-mcp:n8n-mcp"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:08.599881581+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-54052","score":0.00388,"percentile":0.32693,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-j6r7-6fhx-77wx","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-j6r7-6fhx-77wx","summary":"n8n-MCP: Cross-tenant access to workflow version backups in multi-tenant HTTP deployments","modified":"2026-07-14T19:31:05.637802Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"n8n-mcp","purl":"pkg:npm/n8n-mcp","ranges":["<2.56.1"],"fixed":["2.56.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
