Prior to 0.8.8, the Docker API server's SSRF protection (validate_webhook_url / validate_url_destination in deploy/docker/utils.py) used an explicit IPv4/IPv6 CIDR blocklist that missed several address families. An attacker could reach internal services and cloud metadata endpoints (e.g. 169.254.169.254) despite the filter by encoding an internal IPv4 address inside an IPv6 transition form, or by using the IPv6 unspecified address. Because the Docker API is unauthenticated by default (jwt_enabled: false), no credentials are required. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.8.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/unclecode/crawl4ai/security/advisories/GHSA-4qqr-vv2q-cmr5"],"products":["kidocode:crawl4ai"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T23:44:33.281319194+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-53754","score":0.00433,"percentile":0.37334,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4qqr-vv2q-cmr5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4qqr-vv2q-cmr5","summary":"Crawl4AI: SSRF filter bypass in Docker server via IPv6 transition forms (NAT64 / 6to4 / unspecified / v4-mapped)","modified":"2026-07-20T21:30:31.718896853Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"crawl4ai","purl":"pkg:pypi/crawl4ai","ranges":["<0.8.8"],"fixed":["0.8.8"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-587","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-587","summary":"","modified":"2026-06-30T23:45:06.028755455Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"crawl4ai","purl":"pkg:pypi/crawl4ai","ranges":["<0.8.8"],"fixed":["0.8.8"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
