From 0.84 until 10.0.26 and 11.0.8, an administrator holding the Update auth and sync or Update auth, sync and 2FA right can change the authentication method and disable two-factor authentication for user accounts outside the administrator's entity scope. The affected user-account administration flow did not consistently enforce the target user's entity-scoped update permission. This issue is fixed in versions 11.0.8 and 10.0.26.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":5.9},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-285"],"references":["https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/commit/27cc088f2b134fdcca0643b2485c9bfcc779bc4f","https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/commit/f06a790d64ea18f8ad4ba5cf8236115dd882c364","https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/releases/tag/10.0.26","https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/releases/tag/11.0.8","https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/security/advisories/GHSA-2hf7-pw75-7wcp"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:48.555445741+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-53628","score":0.00452,"percentile":0.39006,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
