Prior to version 0.2.4, the Reachy Mini Wireless OS image shipped with an overly broad sudoers entry granting the pollen daemon user (uid 1000) passwordless sudo access to /usr/bin/systemctl with no subcommand or argument restriction. This is a local privilege escalation (LPE). Any process running as pollen can obtain full root (uid 0) on the device in three commands, with no additional vulnerability required and no user interaction. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.4.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-250","CWE-269"],"references":["https://github.com/pollen-robotics/reachy-mini-os/commit/cee4076f36bd95a2a6b894a56a48c7e971e75445","https://github.com/pollen-robotics/reachy-mini-os/releases/tag/v0.2.4","https://github.com/pollen-robotics/reachy-mini-os/security/advisories/GHSA-7rhg-9v48-x3h2"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:48.555445741+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-53605","score":0.00126,"percentile":0.02229,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
