In this window (before SYSTEM_SCHEDULING is set) interrupts can\nfire and in the hard interrupt context handler attempt to fill the pool\n\nThis can lead to a deadlock when the interrupt occurred when the interrupt\nhits a region which holds a lock that is required to be taken in the\nallocation path.\n\nAdd a new can_fill_pool() helper and reorder the exception rule and forbid\nthis scenario by excluding allocations from hard interrupt context.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-667"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0d046ae106255cba5eb83b23f78ee93f3620247d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/27335c50014102e9077b784ebd314954286afcab","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3cc90ea0dd0fb1f8db577dcdc027fc46c06049f6","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/44b8b03a9fb5c575548fc72c674653d6baba142a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5d95f6b267f3d7fe54f42a3b224bb4a3d3990b41"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:42:16.820116992+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-53326","score":0.00125,"percentile":0.02218,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
