Add the equivalent check to adfs_validate_bblk() for\nnew-format images so that a crafted image with nzones == 0 is\nrejected at probe time.\n\nFound by syzkaller.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-787"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1586bd2d2fb436a26df20a70e78b000d34a7d159","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1f0ed0f57f0fc87e46fe19a05435c214dc464be2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/33aafd2418a59c96c0389d47ea09026661fa9ec6","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/60d82592ac8b5637fbed871381eb0a16df0a492e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6ff8cca5cdb4f2e0ea6d28ecd78479dd3f221ebc"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-52992","score":0.00176,"percentile":0.07083,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
