{"cve":"CVE-2026-50170","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-22T18:16:42.403","modified":"2026-07-09T15:31:59.043","status":"Analyzed","description":"Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23, a vulnerability was discovered in @angular/common when Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and hydration are enabled. The HttpTransferCache utility optimizes hydration by caching outgoing HTTP requests performed during SSR and transferring the cached state to the client-side application via TransferState. However, the caching mechanism fails to inspect the withCredentials flag or the Cookie header of outgoing requests. As a result, credentialed, user-specific responses may be cached by default in the shared TransferState payload. When these responses are serialized into the HTML, any caching layer (such as a CDN, reverse proxy, or shared server cache) that caches the SSR-rendered HTML page could inadvertently cache and leak one user's private data to other users, leading to a high-severity information disclosure vulnerability. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.2},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-524"],"references":["https://github.com/angular/angular/pull/67964","https://github.com/angular/angular/security/advisories/GHSA-q6f4-qqrg-jv6x"],"products":["angular:angular"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:39:28.638635428+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-50170","score":0.00425,"percentile":0.3681,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-q6f4-qqrg-jv6x","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-q6f4-qqrg-jv6x","summary":"@angular/common: Information Leak via Default Caching of Credentialed Requests in HttpTransferCache","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:50.091504456Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@angular/common","purl":"pkg:npm/%40angular/common","ranges":[">=22.0.0-next.0 <22.0.0-rc.2"],"fixed":["22.0.0-rc.2"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@angular/common","purl":"pkg:npm/%40angular/common","ranges":[">=20.0.0-next.0 <20.3.22"],"fixed":["20.3.22"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@angular/common","purl":"pkg:npm/%40angular/common","ranges":[">=19.0.0-next.0 <19.2.23"],"fixed":["19.2.23"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@angular/common","purl":"pkg:npm/%40angular/common","ranges":["<=18.2.14"],"fixed":[]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@angular/common","purl":"pkg:npm/%40angular/common","ranges":[">=21.0.0-next.0 <21.2.15"],"fixed":["21.2.15"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
