{"cve":"CVE-2026-49357","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-19T14:16:23.667","modified":"2026-10-26T11:10:00.157","status":"Deferred","description":"Line Desktop MCP is a project that, while unaffiliated with the official line-bot-mcp-server, allows users to directly operate the LINE Desktop application on Windows or Mac via MCP. `line-desktop-mcp` supports a `--http-mode` Streamable HTTP transport for use with clients such as n8n. In this mode the server binds to `0.0.0.0` and exposes the MCP `/mcp` endpoint without an MCP-layer authentication check. Prior to version 1.1.2, any network client that can reach the port can initialize a session, list tools, and call tools that read LINE Desktop chat history or send LINE messages through the already logged-in desktop application. Version 1.1.2 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.8},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-306","CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/dtwang/line-desktop-mcp/commit/680617894981ea93f8f6ceb51ecde7519754d501","https://github.com/dtwang/line-desktop-mcp/security/advisories/GHSA-4hf8-5mjm-rfgq"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-49357","score":0.00564,"percentile":0.46623,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4hf8-5mjm-rfgq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4hf8-5mjm-rfgq","summary":"Streamable HTTP mode exposes LINE Desktop read/send tools without MCP authentication","modified":"2026-06-26T22:11:30.924727Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"line-desktop-mcp","purl":"pkg:npm/line-desktop-mcp","ranges":["<1.1.2"],"fixed":["1.1.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
