The shared session validation path accepts any existing token row that has not expired without checking whether the associated user is still enabled, allowing a disabled user to continue calling authenticated server endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:L","score":8.3},"cwes":["CWE-613"],"references":["https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/commit/c8cb8a223a4faf1c2e1dcb0795a79a93f7b19e80","https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/releases/tag/v26.6.0","https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/security/advisories/GHSA-cq9c-6w48-qmfg","https://github.com/actualbudget/actual/security/advisories/GHSA-cq9c-6w48-qmfg"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T23:44:34.550481224+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-49229","score":0.00441,"percentile":0.38039,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-cq9c-6w48-qmfg","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-cq9c-6w48-qmfg","summary":"@actual-app/sync-server: Disabled OpenID users keep access through existing session tokens","modified":"2026-09-10T03:51:08.477591480Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@actual-app/sync-server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40actual-app/sync-server","ranges":["<26.6.0"],"fixed":["26.6.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
