From 5.4.0 to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient and IpUtils::PRIVATE_SUBNETS omitted IPv6 transition prefixes such as 6to4, NAT64, Teredo, and IPv4-compatible IPv6, allowing attacker-supplied URLs to represent private IPv4 targets in forms that IpUtils::isPrivateIp() did not block. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:L/SA:N","score":6.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":8.6},"cwes":["CWE-184","CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/symfony/symfony/commit/82765368cf74177c36613575182f168a2eb765b2","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/commit/85b831555be8ea1f43bf01078afe87bc4c92f65e","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/releases/tag/v5.4.53","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/releases/tag/v6.4.41","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/releases/tag/v7.4.13"],"products":["sensiolabs:symfony"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:45:36.895656543+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-48736","score":0.0057,"percentile":0.47228,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
